The story so far

I've spent 18+ years at the intersection of technology and people — building engineering organizations that ship great products and grow great engineers. My north star has always been the same: technology is the tool, people are the power.

Today I serve as VP of Engineering at Betterment, where I lead engineering across a suite of financial products used by hundreds of thousands of people. Before that I was SVP of Engineering at JW Player, where I scaled the team through a period of rapid product expansion, and VP of Engineering at 352 Inc, a product and technology consultancy.

Outside of my day job, I serve as Director of Technology on the board ofThe BERG Collective — a nonprofit supporting 50+ Employee Resource Groups inside Fortune 500 companies. It's work I believe in deeply: the best technology organisations are inclusive ones, and that starts with ERGs that have real resources and real leadership support.
