Evol Greaves is a technology executive with over 18 years of experience leading engineering organizations that ship great products and grow great engineers. He currently serves as VP of Engineering at Betterment, where he leads engineering across a suite of financial products used by hundreds of thousands of people. Before Betterment, Evol was SVP of Engineering at JW Player, where he scaled the engineering organization through a period of rapid product expansion, and VP of Engineering at 352 Inc, a product and technology consultancy.

Beyond his day-to-day work, Evol serves as Director of Technology on the board of The BERG Collective — a nonprofit supporting Employee Resource Groups inside 50+ Fortune 500 companies. He holds a BSc in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Florida. His guiding philosophy: technology is the tool, people are the power.
